The 2018 Nissan LEAF Gives You More Features for Less Money

Proving that Nissan is committed to delivering maximum value, the 2018 LEAF offers owners more horsepower, range and features than the previous generation model, even though it's priced lower. With a new exterior design that harmonious with Nissan's design language, the new LEAF delivers an estimated driving range of 150 miles, a more spacious interior and a host of advanced technologies and driver assistance systems.

For the 2018 LEAF, Nissan has tacked on features and technologies like Automatic Emergency Braking, e-Pedal, Intelligent Cruise Control, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent Around View Monitor and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility (features vary by trim level). The added value of these features averages $5,400, but the average MSRP is $990 lower than that of the 2017 models.

In a press release, Christian Meunier, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing and Operations, Nissan North America, Inc. and Chairman, Nissan Canada, commented, "LEAF has just raised the bar for performance, innovation, design and features. Most importantly, we've raised the value significantly by adding feature content while lowering the price. It's more LEAF for less as Nissan continues its pursuit of toward a clean-energy future with this connected, comfortable and convenient second-generation LEAF design."
